At the core of our mission we value and celebrate diversity, inclusion and acceptance. Below are a list of some Pride Month Resources to explore. 

Podcasts

Online Resources

  • The Genderbread Person, a teaching tool for breaking the big concept of gender down into bite-sized, digestible pieces

  • Marsha P. Johnson Institute, protects and defends the human rights of BLACK transgender people. We do this by organizing, advocating, creating an intentional community to heal, developing transformative leadership, and promoting our collective power.

 

  • The Trevor Project, focused on suicide prevention efforts among lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning youth.

 

  • ACT UP (AIDS Coalition To Unleash Power), a diverse, non-partisan group of individuals, united in anger and committed to direct action to end the AIDS crisis. We meet with government officials, we distribute the latest medical information, we protest and demonstrate. We are not silent.

  • GLAAD  - Organization that promotes acceptance in the media for the LGBTQIA Community.
