Volunteer at MAP!

Volunteer opportunities are designed to benefit both MAP and its volunteers with the intention of enriching their lives and increasing positive outcomes for community members. MAP values the impactful service of its volunteers and strives to provide positive educational and experiential learning opportunities whenever possible.

Join us at a Volunteer Event!

*Volunteer Events are for adults age 18 and over.


MAP will increase the number of Volunteer Events we host this year, with 9 days to choose from! To accommodate a wider audience, Volunteer opportunities will take place on Tuesday mornings and Saturday mornings, always from 10am-12pm.

Step One: Fill out an Application and RSVP! Filling out a MAP Volunteer Application is the first step towards joining us for a Volunteer Event. Our Application requires that you RSVP for the dates you intend to attend. MAP's Development Director will email you a reminder ahead of the event day and give you a little more information about what activities we have planned.

MAP offers a few ways to volunteer. Please explore the options below to find the best fit for you!

Volunteer Assignments

​

  • For those seeking a consistent, seasonal volunteer assignment working directly with a MAP Staff.

​

  • This is for individuals who have a volunteer service requirement that can not otherwise be met by our opportunities to volunteer on MAP's Market or during our Farm/Farmhouse Volunteer Events.

​

  • This is also for volunteers offering to share a skill.

Volunteer Events and Volunteer Groups

​

  • MAP hosts regularly scheduled Volunteer Events for individuals over 18 years of age seeking an opportunity to volunteer at MAP's Farm and Farmhouse, or for groups seeking to volunteer with us. 

​

  • Monthly Volunteer Events Take place on a Tuesday and Saturday once per month from 10am - 12pm.

Mobile Market Volunteers

​

This season the Mobile Market is looking for volunteers to fill the following shifts, May through November:​

  • Tuesday through Saturday

  • Shifts: Morning, Mid-Morning/Afternoon, Evening

​

Volunteers commit to regular weekly shifts of around 4 hours at Mobile Market locations throughout the city.

​​

Orientation is required!

  • Saturday May 11th 10-11:30 AM

  • Tuesday May 14th 5:30- 7 PM

  • Wednesday May 15th 5:30 - 7 PM
