Mobile Market Procurement Manager
Mobile Market Outreach Manager
The MAP Mobile Market is a traveling farm stand operated by the Massachusetts Avenue Project (MAP) which offers seasonal, locally sourced, culturally significant, and naturally grown produce and pantry staples at an accessible cost in areas of Buffalo that have been affected by food apartheid.
The Market Procurement Manager's primary role is to build sourcing relationships with local growers and ensure local, nutritious and affordable food is getting to folks who need it most. The ideal Procurement Manager candidate will have experience driving a box truck, a working knowledge of the local food system, and strong communication skills. A safe driving record and driver’s license is required.
The Market Outreach Manager is responsible for maintaining and developing partnerships, increasing awareness of the Mobile Market through digital and physical media, and recruiting/managing volunteers and Community Ambassadors. The ideal Market Outreach Manager candidate will have communications experience with strong writing skills, a working knowledge of the local food system, and experience in outreach and relationship building. A safe driving record and driver’s license is required.
